Hello, I have compiled important mobility and sharing economy news of the week for you:

First, I would like to inform you about two great events about mobility. Global Fleet conference subscription link is below:

Beside that, Autonomy Digital 2021 event will be on May 19–20:

And let’s talk about last week’s trend news of the mobility and sharing economy

1-Late last year, Singapore’s quasi-authoritarian democracy introduced rules stipulating that all new private-hire drivers must be aged 30 or above. Governments are becoming concerned by the lack of permanent, professional employment that can leave young people in temporary positions for years and affect their long-term job prospects. In the words of Lee Kuan Yew, the founder and patriarch of modern Singapore: “What I fear is complacency. When things always become better, people tend to want more for less work.”

In the words of Lee Kuan Yew, the founder and patriarch of modern Singapore: “What I fear is complacency. When things always become better, people tend to want more for less work.” Because of this reason, Singapore's youngers are not allowed to contribute and gain money from Gig Economy. They should focus on long-term jobs.

2 — Helbiz, a global leader in micro-mobility that is the business combination target of GreenVision Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: GRNV), announced the launch of 200 e-scooters and 200 e-bicycles in the city of Ferrara, Italy to provide its citizens with an agile and environmentally friendly way to travel.

3-As I always say, multi-modal vehicle sharing is the future of vehicle sharing. One app, variety of vehicle:

As part of this agreement, users will be able to enjoy a full intermodal experience: train + e-bike or e-scooter to their final destination.

4-Electric vehicle maker Arrival is turning its attention to the ride-hailing sector with plans to develop a purpose-built electric car.

5- Martyn Collins tries Citroën’s new urban mobility solution that’s potentially on its way to the UK. Ami is a great urban mobility solution and also for the car-sharing ecosystem. Think of the Ami as a mobility solution to get around cities rather than a car and, at just 2.41 meters long, it seems perfectly suited to that.

6-Businesses in the UK are planning to spend £15.8bn on electric vehicles and charging infrastructure over the next 12 months; up 50% on the year to March 2021.

7-Carried out for the Clean Cities Campaign, the research showed 67% of Londoners want to see pollution from traffic brought down, while 59% believe only emission-free cars should be allowed to be driven after 2030.

8-My dream is going about to happen. As with software, computing, and entertainment, only when a properly designed and managed platform underpins all the services will the real transformation be unlocked.

9-Carsharing platform ekar has integrated with CarPro, a car rental fleet management platform, to digitally rent more than 500,000 cars over its platform.

10-As a result of a collective reflection initiated within the “Mobility360” project, Uber, Mobilize, RATP, and Blablacar, supported by the Boston Consulting Group, are co-signing a manifesto on urban mobility

11-The forecast for 2021 new car registrations has increased on the back of rising market confidence — but with fewer battery electric vehicles (BEVs) than expected due to the changes to the grants.

12-In the electric motorcycle vs. gas-powered motorcycle debate, range and refueling time have become the only two areas where e-motos don’t quite stack up yet. But that could soon change.

13-“Self-driving” vehicles could be allowed on UK roads by the end of this year, the government has said.

I compiled the important news for you. I hope this is a useful post for you.
